Revlon Photoready BB Cream – Review

Assalaam-u-Alikum lovelies! 😀

I hope this post finds you all hale and hearty and each of you is having an amazing day.
Since past few days, I am planning to give my blog a major revamp. I just feel there’s something amiss and my sister (the amazing mua, blogger and multimedia artist) further stamped it by pointing out the issues. And they literally caught me off guard. *YIKES*
So yeah, my blog really needs a finishing touch and hey, I’m already on it! Wish me luck…

This happens to every novice blogger… .but hey, people it’s better to be late than never and of course you learn as you grow. And I happen to be in that phase of learning, doing and growing 🙂

Before I change my mind and start writing an entire book over this “Learning With Time Phase”, let’s take you to the Product Review Bandwagon.

Revlon Photoready BB Cream” is what you are going to read about just now.

😉

It comes in a metallic grey and black tube packaging. With SPF-30, it sure is a jackpot. This for me has a big YES for ladies who have normal to dry skin and as for the ladies with oily skin, if you are eyeing on this or in case it’s on your wish list, my dear, just abort, I REPEAT, abort the mission of going to a make-up booth only to purchase it.

Consistency is just to the point, not at all runny nor too thick. Being a Karachi-ite, where Summers rule, it did not sit well on my skin as I have such an oily skin that you can fry up an egg or some fries if it’s your evening snack time, Duh!. Upon its application, it felt greasy and quite heavy. And, and, and it oxidized badly; did not even last for a mere 4 hours.

I used it in winters, which hardly lasted for a month here in Karachi, *sigh*. It worked perfectly fine then as I get flaky dry in winters. I did not budge for a good 6 hours; yes, it did slide off my T-zone after that. Having said that, did not feel greasy at all as that in summers. Above all, it has this amazing hydrating formula which went really well with my skin.
Ladies, it is super light-weight and evens out your skin-tone. Dewy finish, for which majority of the beauties craves for, is what this gives you.

.If you are up for a soft, natural or no-makeup make-up look, then this is your vehicle for it ;). However, you might have to run for your concealer to hide those nasty blemishes for this does not cover them well enough

Okay, I am short of vocabulary as to how must I define its fragrance. But I can tell you that I kind of dislike it. It gives me wee bit tacky eek. To many, the fragrance doesn’t bother much, but it does bother me a bit. So it’s entirely on an individual’s preference

PROS:
-Lightweight formula
-Super hydrating
-Dewy finish
-Travel-friendly
-SPF-30
-Ideal for Asian skin-tones
-Easy to blend

CONS:
-The fragrance
-Does not manage to cover blemish/spots
-Not meant for oily skin
-Should last for 8 hours at least

Have you tried the Revlon Photoready BB Cream? Thoughts?

See you soon Insha Allah,
