Hint: I have blogged about it before 😛
I so damn wanted to come up with an Eid post, but to my utmost disappointment, my photographer cousin apparently has misplaced my pictures 😦 (I am going to kill him for this).
Anyhoo, while I am trying my level best to get the pictures back, I thought I’ll give you a sneak peek of my next post 😉
Here you go:
Any guesses???? ^_^
Sawadika! 🙂 (Thai obsession)
If you ask me what is that first place in my travel bucket-list , then it, my friend, is THAILAND!
Thailand’s on my mind these days! *dreamy sigh*
Everything is so picturesque about it… .
Ah… .I guess I must stop gushing about it and head straight towards the point of this post; because guys, when it I talk about my Thailand obsession, I daydream, and when you daydream then you can do nothing else :P.
Well, today, the post is dedicated to “Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer.” I am in shade “030-Classic Beige.”
Claim: Banish the signs of fatigue and illuminate the eye area. With an oxygen complex. Lets skin breathe.
Packaging: It comes in a cutsie wee fawn colored tube in combo with the color blue. It’s sleek and slender, with a brush applicator inside.
My thoughts: First and foremost, I am quite impressed by the way the consistency is formulated. Girls, it has a great coverage to offer, yet it feels light-weight and it does not at all give that heavy-ish feel. To sum up, it sure fulfills the “concealer” claim. As far as the highlighting part is concerned, for me it does not live up to its claim; I did not, to my utter disappointment, get that brightness or the illuminating effect that it claims to offer .
The sun’s lost its temper here in Karachi, and this concealer manages to battle the searing heat for about good 5-6 hours. And the best part is, it, at least in my opinion, does not appear cake-y upon application and I even did not see it creasing.
The applicator is similar to that of L.A girl pro HD concealers; the downside is common. It is so much of a heck to control the product when you squeeze the tube for the product to flow out. You may end up wasting it and mannnn, it hurts!
It is priced at PKR 565 and I got mine from Chase Value Centre, Karachi. Affordable and perfection; that’s what Rimmel’s about.
-Pocket and travel- friendly.
-Does not appear cakey.
-Does not feel heavy.
-The quantity should have been more.
-Hard to handle the squeeze tubing.
-Does not live up to its claim of highlighting.
I highly recommend this product and look forward to hearing about your experiences with this Lil buddy! 🙂
Until next time lovelies,
Love and fairy-dust all the way! ❤
I was taking my time to let the “Liebster Award” tag sink in when the “Beauty Blogger Award” came in as yet another surprise. And boy, I was literally S U R P R I S E D!

Assalaam-u-Alikum lovelies! 😀
I hope this post finds you all hale and hearty and each of you is having an amazing day.
Since past few days, I am planning to give my blog a major revamp. I just feel there’s something amiss and my sister (the amazing mua, blogger and multimedia artist) further stamped it by pointing out the issues. And they literally caught me off guard. *YIKES*
So yeah, my blog really needs a finishing touch and hey, I’m already on it! Wish me luck…
This happens to every novice blogger… .but hey, people it’s better to be late than never and of course you learn as you grow. And I happen to be in that phase of learning, doing and growing 🙂
Before I change my mind and start writing an entire book over this “Learning With Time Phase”, let’s take you to the Product Review Bandwagon.
“Revlon Photoready BB Cream” is what you are going to read about just now.
1…2…3… .Ready Steady……………………………….. .GoOo!!! 😉
It comes in a metallic grey and black tube packaging. With SPF-30, it sure is a jackpot. This for me has a big YES for ladies who have normal to dry skin and as for the ladies with oily skin, if you are eyeing on this or in case it’s on your wish list, my dear, just abort, I REPEAT, abort the mission of going to a make-up booth only to purchase it.
Consistency is just to the point, not at all runny nor too thick. Being a Karachi-ite, where Summers rule, it did not sit well on my skin as I have such an oily skin that you can fry up an egg or some fries if it’s your evening snack time, Duh!. Upon its application, it felt greasy and quite heavy. And, and, and it oxidized badly; did not even last for a mere 4 hours.
I used it in winters, which hardly lasted for a month here in Karachi, *sigh*. It worked perfectly fine then as I get flaky dry in winters. I did not budge for a good 6 hours; yes, it did slide off my T-zone after that. Having said that, did not feel greasy at all as that in summers. Above all, it has this amazing hydrating formula which went really well with my skin.
Ladies, it is super light-weight and evens out your skin-tone. Dewy finish, for which majority of the beauties craves for, is what this gives you.
.If you are up for a soft, natural or no-makeup make-up look, then this is your vehicle for it ;). However, you might have to run for your concealer to hide those nasty blemishes for this does not cover them well enough
Okay, I am short of vocabulary as to how must I define its fragrance. But I can tell you that I kind of dislike it. It gives me wee bit tacky eek. To many, the fragrance doesn’t bother much, but it does bother me a bit. So it’s entirely on an individual’s preference
-Ideal for Asian skin-tones
-Easy to blend
-Does not manage to cover blemish/spots
-Not meant for oily skin
-Should last for 8 hours at least
Have you tried the Revlon Photoready BB Cream? Thoughts?
See you soon Insha Allah,
Michelle Phan, the Youtube sensation, does it again!
Her long-dreamt project has finally managed to set foot and has taken the viewers by storm. Yes, you can now catch up with her first ever digital comic, “Helios: Femina” here.
Helios: Femina executed around a dystopian (derived from utopia) world brings you Rhea whose ultimate mission is to save humanity. It is most certainly a visual delight and will take you to a cosmic-ride loaded with adventures and twists.
In the era where technology is ruling, join Phan where she takes you to a whole new world of elemental magic and ancient alchemy. With the spotlight on “women empowerment“, Phan is in hopes of bringing a positive change through this comic and I am the biggest advocate of this approach. 🙂
“It was very important to me for the storyline to be centered on female empowerment,” Phan tells PEOPLE of the comic’s underlying message. “By sharing one powerful story, I believe you can ignite a movement and create a positive, supportive community.”
With 5 chapters already out, the 6th one is not too far. Every Sunday, enjoy a new release of Rhea’s journey and support the women power lovelies! 🙂
What to do you think of this comic? I’d love to hear your views in the comments section below. 🙂
